What is syntropic farming?
Syntropic farming, a holisitic farming system modeled of nature invented and developed by Swiss farmer Ernst Gotsch. Ernst has spent more than 3 decades developing 480 hectares of degraded farming land and refining his Syntropic farming system in Brazil, inspiring agricultural expersts with amazing results.
Ernst Gotsch spent lots of time deeply observing the natural rainforest and learning from the native indigenous people, while developing new strategies to grow his own crops.
Thiago Barbosa from Brazil has worked with Mr Gotsch and his syntropic farming projects in Brazil and is a forerunner and inspiring teacher of this amazing technique in Australia.
Thiago is coming up to Noosa Forest Retreat on the Sunshine Coast to present a 2-day intensive course with keynote permaculture speaker Ian Trew who will clarify exactly how Syntropic farming & Permaculture systems of thought and practice relate and can benifit each other.
