During your stay at Beach Health Retreat you not only hear the sound of the waves and have breathtaking views of the ocean from your luxury apartment but you also inhale fresh air straight from the sea.
SALT THERAPY:
Based on clinical studies, salt diffused air reduces inflammation in the whole respiratory tract; absorbing oedema (swelling) from the mucosal lining and widening the airway passages, unclogging blockages in the bronchi and bronchioles thus restoring normal transport of the mucous and rapid elimination of the residual tar and foreign allergens.
Negatively ionised tiny salt particles enter the respiratory system reaching even the deepest part of the lung (alveoli).
Patients report feeling their respiratory system is clean again; improving the quality of their lives, reducing antibiotic and corticoid or steroid intake and decreasing the rate of annual hospitalisations and frequency of asthma attacks.
Research has proven the therapeutic value of breathing in a salt environemnt and its positive influence in the treatment of asthma, smokers cough, whooping cough, bronchitis, sinus / sinusitis, mucus build up and seasonal allergies.
Salt Therapy is a natural, safe and beneficial method of treatment for every age group.
It is more natural and invigorating to walk along the beach breathing in the air, meditate, read a book, swim or do some exercise than sit in an orchestrated salt cave in the city.
This is why we have chosen to locate Beach Health Retreat on a beautiful beach on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia.
We look forward to seeing your health improve from the many benefits of participating in a program at Beach Health Retreat.
Blessings
